Meet the Staff - Stephen Hamilton

Here at the Red Coach Inn we have a remarkable staff, some that have been with us over a decade! Each member of our team strives to ensure every guest has an exceptional stay. During your time at the Red Coach Inn we hope you get a chance to meet as many of our staff members as possible, but just in case you missed someone, we're going to give you the opportunity to meet a new staff member each month in our Blog's "Meet the Staff" post!

This month's featured staff member is Stephen Hamilton! Stephen is a Bartender and Server, and has been with us since June of 2013. Stephen has superb customer service and he ensures each guest enjoys their experience in our restaurant.

Featured Room of the Month - The Stratford Suite

Each month we choose a room to feature and highlight in our Featured Room of the Month Blog. One of the unique and wonderful things about the Red Coach Inn is that each of our 35 rooms are different. From the layout, to the bedding, to the view and the decor each room has special highlights and amenities. The purpose of this blog is to help you learn more about each room here, so when you’re ready to book you know just which one to choose! This month we chose to feature one of our 2 bedrooms suites, the Stratford Suite.
Second Bedroom

Last month's featured rooms were our banquet rooms, the Niagara Room and the Rainbow Room. If you missed it you can CLICK HERE to catch up!

The Stratford Suite is located on the second floor of the hotel, and there are no elevators, so if stairs are a problem we recommend booking a first floor room. The trip up the stairs is well worth it, the Stratford has a stunning view and you can open the windows and listen to the roar of the rapids! 

Inside the 1,125 square foot suite you will find 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen and living room. The first bedroom has beautiful blue textured wallpaper and matching comforter. The queen bed is set back in its own enclave and has drop down currents, which not only makes the room bigger, but gives it an awe effect. This room also has a full private bathroom in it with a jetted tub and double closets, as well as a 32inch television.

The second bedroom is a little smaller and has a stunning 4 post queen bed in it and a seating area! This room has also has a closet and chest of drawers.

In the kitchen you will find a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker, as well as all your flatware and cookware. The living room boasts not only stunning views, but also a flat screen television, pull out sofa bed and a gas fireplace. There is also an antique chess table, for you to enjoy!

You will also enjoy all of the Red Coach Inn amenities including breakfast and a local newspaper in our restaurant each morning from 7:30 am to 11:00 am, as well as free wireless internet, free long distance, Bose stereo, plush terry cloth robes, and Gilchrist & Soames bath amenities.

10 Tips for Attending the 2014 Buffalo Bridal Expo on Sunday January 26th!


We hope you will be able to join us on Sunday, January 26th for the Buffalo Bridal Expo! The Expo will be held at the Seneca Hotel and Casino (310 4th Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14303) from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm and tickets are free of charge! As you meet with the top local wedding professionals we want to make sure you get the most out of this amazing Bridal Show, so we wanted to share the Buffalo Bridal Association's Ten Tips for Attending.

Ten Tips for Attending

01 - Bring your fiance, parents, and/or bridesmaids. They can help you cover twice the ground and offer opinions about the choices of wedding merchants.

02 - Spend at least two hours so you can visit all the wedding merchants and see at least one fashion show. Nowhere else can you get so much done in a short period of time.

03 - Bring pre-printed address labels. Many vendors hold drawings for trips, prizes, and discounts: your labels save you from repeatedly (writing) your name and address.

04 - Bring your checkbook if you might want to book services or hold dates with a deposit. The top photographers, caterers, florists, and DJs book up quickly.

05 - Bring you calendar. You will probably find vendors with whom you would like to schedule a one-on-one consultation.

06 - Arrive with a plan. Know what you are looking for and have questions in mind. You will save time and you will see everything that's important to you.

07 - Wear comfortable shoes. You will stroll many aisles as you seek out the ideas, people, products and services you'll soon need.

08 - When you register at the door print neatly. Prize winners are often chosen at random from the registration form: make sure your vital information is legible.

09 - If you are out of town...send mom or a trusted friend to collect information on services you need and register you for prizes.

10 - Ask questions! The vendors are there to help you. You are under no pressure to buy from them, so find out everything you need to know.

January 19th - January 25th: UnreLuctant: Solo Paintings by Lin Xia Jiang
Painter Lin Xia Jiang is currently a professor in the Fine Arts Department and coordinator of the Painting and Drawing program at Buffalo State College. Educated in China and the United States, his work has been shown regionally, nationally, and internationally. His paintings are in numerous private, cooperative, and public collections. The exhibit features over 40 figurative and landscape paintings. Gallery is open Monday - Friday 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm and Saturday & Sunday 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm. 




January 24th: Live Music at the Hard Rock Cafe 
Join the Hard Rock Cafe, Niagara Falls, NY for Free Music Fridays from 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm. This week's featured band is The Indestuctibles, also performing is Living Will. All ages welcome. 




January 25th: 3rd Annual Niagara Beer and Wine Tasting Fest
The Kenan Center Arena is proud to present the 3rd Annual Niagara Beer and Wine Tasting Fest this Saturday from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm. This celebration of wine, beer and food features more than 30 wineries, breweries, specialty food vendors and restaurants plus live music from Varuna. Admission includes $5 food voucher, tasting glass, and tasting journal. $25 pre-sale; $35 at event. $10 Designated Drivers pay at the door. Age 21 and over.

Meet the Staff - Mark Janiszewski

This month's featured staff member is Mark Janiszewski! Mark is our Executive Chef at the Red Coach Inn and started with us in March of 2013. He is responsible for the menus in our award-winning restaurant. Not only does he specifically choose what's on our menu, he also creates our Weekly Dinner Specials as well as all of our holiday menus. Mark also oversees all the staffing in the restaurant and the plate presentations. Overall Mark makes sure our kitchen is running effectively and delicious food is being served!
