We hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day and was able to treat Mom to a wonderful day! As we move into the 3rd week of May we want to highlight a special event here in Niagara Falls, Relay for Life. Teams of people will unite on Saturday May 18th in an effort to raise funds for the American Cancer Society's programs, services, and life-saving missions. 103.3 The Edge presents DEVICE with special guests Nonpoint and Gemini Syndrome on Tuesday May 14th at the Rapids Theatre. Rather than sticking to any pre-existing blueprints or conventions, modern hard rock icon David Draiman of Disturbed and studio collaborator Geno Lenardo [ex-Filter] constructed Device from strands of hard rock, industrial, and electronica. May 18th: American Cancer Society's Relay for Life of Niagara Falls

Relay for Life is the American Cancer Society's signature fundraising event that celebrates cancer survivors, remembers and honors loved ones that have battled the disease, and fights back against cancer. The 2013 Relay will be a destination event, welcoming participants from all over the world to Relay at a true wonder - Niagara Falls. The Allan Herschell Companies were an important part of the local economy and community in the 19th and 20th centuries. Celebrate the carrousel's legacy in the Tonawandas by learning about the artistry and engineering of these beautiful historic machines. From 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm you can tour the museum's exhibits of antique carrousel animals, see woodcarvers at work, hear the familiar strains of the band organ, and take a ride on the 1916 #1 Special Carrousel. In celebration of New York Heritage Weekend the museum is offering free admission to all visitors and a variety of fun craft activities for kids inspired by carrousel and other Herschell rides. Midnight Run Wine Cellars is located in the peaceful town of Wilson, NY, within 2 miles of Lake Ontario. The lake has a profound effect on the grapes, and extends the growing season to help the winery produce fine quality grapes. On Saturday May 18th at 6:30 pm you can experience their exquisite wine first hand. For Hors D'oeuvres they are serving Antipasto on a French baguette paired with Baco-Noir.
