What's Happening in Niagara Falls, NY September 16th - September 22nd

Temperatures are starting to drop here in Niagara Falls, and I hope you get the chance to make it to some of fun happening this week. Whether you are looking to head outside for some fresh air or if you prefer to stay inside where it's warm there is something going on! Also don't forget there's no better way to spend a cold night than snuggled up by the fireplace at The Red Coach Inn.

September 18th - Discovery Series at the Lewiston Opera Hall

The writing of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle has been delighting  both mystery lovers and Sherlock Holmes fans since 1887! Head to the Lewiston Opera Hall this Wednesday to take a journey of discovery with John Cornstock, a member of the Sherlock Holmes Society of Buffalo, as he presents the connections between Sherlock Holmes, his creator Arthur Conan Doyle and the Niagara Frontier. September 20th - 22nd: Harvest Festival
Celebrate the season with wine, food pairing and autumn activities all weekend long! The Niagara Wine Trail Harvest Festival runs Friday from 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm, Saturday from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Sunday from 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Tickets are $30 if purchased online in advance, or $35 if purchased at the door and are valid for all three days of the event. Tickets also include a tasting of 3 wines and a sample of harvest-themed cuisine at each participating winery, and a commemorative wine glass from your starting winery. A valid photo ID with proof of age is required to participate in wine tastings.

September 21st: Guided Museum Tour 
Get the inside scoop on the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum's collection by joining in on their guided tours. Led by museum staff member or docent, these fun-filled tours are a great way for visitors of all ages to discover the museum's treasures. Tours depart from museum entrance hall and no reservations are needed! The cost of the guided tours is included with general admission. ($6 for adults, $5 for seniors, and $3 for children ages 2-16)







September 21st & 22nd: The Annual Pumpkin Fiesta
Enjoy fall fun at Becker Farm's Pumpkin Fiesta. This is a terrific way to celebrate the harvest season! The Fiesta is every Saturday and Sunday through the end of October, and features fun family activities that the kids will remember and want to return year after year. Enjoy free live music, wine and beer tastings, as well as food from the Frier and the Cantina. Other activities include pony rides, duck races, hay rides through the forest, and a castle labyrinth that will keep you guessing which way is out! For more information CLICK HERE.

September 21st: Marble Orchard Ghost Walks
As the temperature starts to drop it's a great time to embrace the scary and creepy Whether you're out to just have fun or experience something paranormal, Lewiston's Marble Orchard Ghost Walks are one of the most popular autumn tourist destinations. During the 1 1/2 walk a cast of 11 ghosts share ghost stories and myths from their time period. Admission is $15 and the tour starts at 7:00 pm. For more information CLICK HERE.
