Each week our chefs choose 3 mouth-watering entrees to feature on our Weekly Dinner Specials. Entrees are not on our regular menu and vary weekly, so whether you are a first-timer or a seasoned regular you don't want to miss out on this week's scrumptious entrees!

What's Happening in Niagara Falls, NY September 24th - September 29th

Fall is officially here in Niagara Falls and so are the fun fall activities! It's a great time to enjoy the cooler weather and celebrate the harvest season!


September 27th: Freedom Run Free Movie Night
Drink wine and watch "The Blindside" this week at Freedom Run Winery's FREE movie night. Doors open at 8:00pm and the movie will start at sunset. The movie is outdoors, weather permitting - or inside the production room. Wine is available to purchase by the glass, and there will also be film inspired cocktails and gourmet snacks! September 28th: Marble Orchard Ghost Walks 
As the temperature starts to drop it's a great time to embrace the scary and creepy! Whether you're just out to have fun or experience something paranormal, Lewiston's Marble Orchard Ghost Walks are one of the most popular autumn tourist destinations. During the 1 and 1/2 walk a cast of 11 ghosts share ghost stories and myths from their time period. Admission is $15 and the tour starts at 7:00 pm. For more information CLICK HERE





September 28th & 29th: Harvest Festival and Craft Show
Celebrate the beginning of Autumn in the historic Village of Lewiston with the work of Western New York's most talented crafters and jewelry artists. The 30th annual Lewiston Harvest Festival and Craft Show will take place along Center Street on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm and is free to the public. More than 85 crafters will showcase their artwork, jewelry, woodwork, candles, and handmade crafts throughout the weekend. 

September 28th & 29th: NYPA Wildlife Festival
The New York Power Authority will host its 28th Annual Wildlife Festival from 10:00 am  - 5:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. This FREE family event will take place at the Power Vista, the Niagara Hydroelectic Power Plant's visitors center, and it's surrounding grounds located at 5777 Lewiston Rd, Lewiston NY.  There will be over 50 exhibitors including Liberty, the Bald Eagle, the Aquarium of Niagara, the Niagara River Iroquois Dancers, and a fishing pond!




September 28th & 29th: The Annual Pumpkin Fiesta
Enjoy fall fun at Becker Farm's Pumpkin Fiesta. This is a terrific way to celebrate the harvest season! The Fiesta is every Saturday and Sunday through the end of October, and features fun family activities that kids will remember and want to return year after year. Enjoy free live music, wine, and beer tastings, as well as food from the Frier and the Cantina. Other activities include pony rides, duck races, hay rides through the forest and a castle labyrinth that will keep you guessing which way is out! For more information CLICK HERE

Niagara Wine Trail's Harvest Festival

Celebrate the changing of the season this weekend at the Niagara Wine Trail's Harvest Festival. This 3-day event starts Friday at 12:00 pm and is a great way to taste some local Niagara wine and try some delicious harvest themed cuisine as you stop at 18 wineries along the Niagara Wine Trail. Just minutes from The Red Coach Inn, the Niagara Wine Trail is regarded as a new up-and-coming region and produces a wide variety of wines including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, and Merlot. Tickets are $30.00 if purchased online in advance and $35 at the gate, and are valid for all three days of the festival. PURCHASE TICKETS HERE.

What's Happening in Niagara Falls, NY September 16th - September 22nd

Temperatures are starting to drop here in Niagara Falls, and I hope you get the chance to make it to some of fun happening this week. Whether you are looking to head outside for some fresh air or if you prefer to stay inside where it's warm there is something going on! Also don't forget there's no better way to spend a cold night than snuggled up by the fireplace at The Red Coach Inn.

September 18th - Discovery Series at the Lewiston Opera Hall
John Cornstock
The writing of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle has been delighting  both mystery lovers and Sherlock Holmes fans since 1887! Head to the Lewiston Opera Hall this Wednesday to take a journey of discovery with John Cornstock, a member of the Sherlock Holmes Society of Buffalo, as he presents the connections between Sherlock Holmes, his creator Arthur Conan Doyle and the Niagara Frontier. September 20th - 22nd: Harvest Festival
Celebrate the season with wine, food pairing and autumn activities all weekend long! The Niagara Wine Trail Harvest Festival runs Friday from 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm, Saturday from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Sunday from 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Tickets are $30 if purchased online in advance, or $35 if purchased at the door and are valid for all three days of the event. Tickets also include a tasting of 3 wines and a sample of harvest-themed cuisine at each participating winery, and a commemorative wine glass from your starting winery. (For a full list of participating wineries CLICK HERE) Tickets do not include transportation, so please be safe and plan ahead! A valid photo ID with proof of age is required to participate in wine tastings.

September 21st: Guided Museum Tour 
Get the inside scoop on the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum's collection by joining in on their guided tours. Led by museum staff member or docent, these fun-filled tours are a great way for visitors of all ages to discover the museum's treasures. Tours depart from museum entrance hall and no reservations are needed! The cost of the guided tours is included with general admission. ($6 for adults, $5 for seniors, and $3 for children ages 2-16)

Fun and Festivals in Niagara Falls

The temperatures are starting to drop here in Niagara Falls, and as fall approaches so does the fun! Fall is one my favorite times at Niagara Falls, because there's a new festival each week. It's a great opportunity to try some of the locally grown produce and freshly baked goods, as well as meet some of our local artisans and entertainers. It's also a great time to visit The Red Coach Inn. They have great fall rates, offer a one of a kind Niagara Falls experience, and have romance and wine-tasting packages you can add to your stay! I hope you get the chance to come out and attend some of these fun festivals and experience fall in the Falls!
Niagara Falls Celtic Festival September 14th - September 15th
The 13th Annual Niagara Celtic Festival in Krull Park features Celtic music, dancers, and living historians. There will be food vendors and local artisans.  Tickets are $20 for a weekend pass, or $15 for Saturday and $10 for Sunday. Parking is free and I would encourage you to bring lawn chairs and blankets, and don't forget a comfy jacket or sweater. For more tickets and more information CLICK HERE.

Harvest Festival September 20th - September 22nd
Celebrate the season with wine and food pairing and autumn activities! Tickets are valid for all three days of the event and include a tasting of 3 wines and sample of harvest-themed cuisine at each participating winery, and a commemorative wine glass from your starting winery! Niagara Apple Festival October 5th - October 6th
Head to the Niagara County Fairgrounds and enjoy some fresh produce and apple treats! There will be apple pie, apple jam, apple tarts, apple cake, apple everything! Admission is free and everyone gets a free apple at the gates! There are also indoor and outdoor craft shows and live entertainment. 4th Annual Oktoberfest October 12th
Walking distance from The Red Coach Inn the 4th Annual Oktoberfest features authentic German-American cuisine beer and wine. Musicians and authentic performers including the Bergholz German Band and the Edelweiss Dancers will be performing at the this one day festival. What's Happening in NIagara Falls September 3rd - September 9th

Did you have a Happy Labor Day? We hope you spent the day relaxing and having fun! It's a great week to visit Niagara Falls and as we prepare for fall there are tons of fun festival and events taking place!

September 4th: Guided Museum Tour at the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum
If you haven't been to the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum this is great opportunity to get the inside scoop on the museum's collection by joining a guided-tour. These tours are led by one of the museum's staff members are a fun way to discover all the museums has to offer. Tours depart from the museum entrance all and no reservations are needed. September 6th - 8th: Niagara County Peach Festival
Don't miss Niagara County's oldest and largest event, the 56th Annual Peach Festival. This old-fashioned festival is complete with a parade, peach short cake, hamburgers, hot dogs, and carnival rides! The festival is held at Academy Park in Lewiston, New York and tickets are $22. September 6th: BLONIDE at the Rapids Theater
